| wanted to make something a bit different today, so I decided to try adding yogurt to a basic smoothie recipe. It was much richer and thicker than an ordinary smoothie, and had a hint of sourness alongside the sweet taste. What not try it and see?
It is best to use ripe bananas as they are sweeter and blend more easily, but if you only have less ripe ones, you can always add a little more honey.
Ingredients (makes 4 glasses)
- 400 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 4 ripe bananas
- 8 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp runny honey
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
Whizz everything up in a blender and pour into glasses. Enjoy!
